Reaching Out Ministries was started from the desire of Pastor Mickey to reach beyond the four walls of the church building to touch those who are hurting the most.  Whether with biblical messages that encouarge the broken hearted or helping meet the physical needs, Pastor Mickey is simply following the command of Jesus Christ who said these words before He left this earth...

"For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me."      - -  Matthew 25:35-36 (NASB)

Reaching Out Ministries seeks to use modern technology such as television / radio / internet to reach every possible individual.  Those who partner with this ministry fuel the drive of reaching out to as many people possible.  Pastor Mickey feels his call is to touch the people who live in the state of Alabama.  While others feel called to other countries or either a certain city this ministry has a heart for our state.



TELEVISION MINISTRY
The vision of this ministry has us preparing to have Pastor Mickey's messages airing on televsion stations across the state of Alabama to allow every household the opportunity to hear the practical and encouraging word of God's love.  As our partners grow so do the stations in which we can air the "Reaching Out" programs.  Currently we are seen in more then 45,000 households with our weekly airing on My68 in the Birmingham market.  Partners allow us to purchase airtime and produce a top quality 30-minute program.

INTERNET MINISTRY
With the growing popularity of the internet, this ministry will be utilizing every opportunity to reach a much wider audience.  From message clips to daily motivational updates we are able to tap into resources to put our messages online and available to more people.
